My Wish For You
This year my Christmas wish for
you
is that a wish you wish comes true.
It may be big; it may be small;
it may be something you don't recall.
We all have something that we hold
dear
and often give up it will ever appear.
This is the year for dreams to come true -
Keep wishing that wish 'til it comes to you.
Your wish may be love; it may be
health;
it may be a job; it may be wealth.
It may be warmth and a place to stay;
It may be three square meals a day.
Your wish may be having a loved-one
come;
it may be to see a child have fun.
It may be to sing a Christmas song;
to light a candle that burns all night long.
It may be a tree that's all alight;
Memories of the story of the star so bright.
It may be an angel to hang on your tree;
perhaps a real angel to watch over thee.
Your wish may be for Peace on earth;
To hear the story of our Saviour's birth.
This year my Christmas wish for you
is that a wish you wish comes true.
