THAT FIRST CUP OF TEA
Scrolling dreams fresh from my
head
While rolling slowly from my bed -
To make my day - a cup of tea
With love and honey made for me!
Tea will never taste so good
Not even served with finest food;
It gave this drink a taste above
As it was flavoured with his love!
Acts of love erase the pain -
And Mom is on her feet again -
For she is warmed, transformed by one
Hot cup of "love" made by her son!

God's Creation
'Tis said that on the seventh day,
God "rested not, He "quit"!
Then, on day eight His Master plan
Which was most "infinite" -
He carried on sustaining all
That He had ever made.
His Life goes on for evermore;
We need not be afraid,
For with His hands He made man, too!
He made all things on Earth.
He simply spoke; the Earth was formed;
He gave the heavens birth.

Birth Of A New Day
Over the far horizon gracefully
climbs another sunrise
awakening this land with a fiery dawn;
Life's symphony sends forth its morning sounds of energy
vibrating through Mother Earth,
labouring to give us the birth of a new day.

Face all things with courage and
good cheer and look ahead;
Expect the best and let not love
and kindness go unsaid.
Age is but a quality of mind,
when molded, we
Shall not be old but just mature
the way we want to be.
