Rainy Day Recipe
When the fierce winds blow and
the rain beats down,
Try wearing a smile instead of a frown.
Sometimes, making my own sunshine,
It spills to others and is not only mine.
I cook up some apples, sprinkled
with spice;
Aromas do wonders - they smell so nice.
Music works magic on a rainy day;
It soothes the soul - transports troubles away.
Sing along - I find I do;
Things become rosy instead of blue.
When the fierce winds blow and
the rain beats down,
Try wearing a smile instead of a frown.
