ONE BIT AT A TIME
One bit at a time is all man needs to find his way --
In fact, a moment at a time will get him through the day.
All at once, 'tis difficult to see the way that's clear --
When taken one bit at a time, it dissipates much fear.
Fear of failing once he starts can rear its ugly head
But one bit at a time, man can control the paths he'll tread;
More relaxed and happy too -- just carefree as a boy --
He bites not more than he can chew, his work he does enjoy!
This is true for women, too, for all the human race --
But women recognized it first -- this loving gift of grace.
Mothers taught their children how to understand, through rhyme,
That they can do 'most anything just one bit at a time!
