Hello and Welcome! Please come in and wander Along Poetry Road. My name is Joan and I am so happy you have come to visit. Within these pages you will find my original poetry. It comes from a heart filled with simple, everyday words.

I have several hundred thoughts written. Some of these have won awards and most of them have been published in local newspapers - some appeared in a paper in Ireland; magazines; and several anthologies in both Canada and the U.S.A.

You will find my sister Doreen's original poetry too, as well as many other categories, just to make things interesting *smile*. I do hope that you will bookmark and come back often, as this is a large site. The "Table of Contents" is further down on this page. If you are rushed for time, I usually suggest that you start with "Nature", as these poems probably best-describe the writer. However ...... It is difficult not to find Nature in ninety percent of my work, regardless of the category. ;)
